Expert Review & Verdict
Stream2Watch Sports Editorial Desk • Audited October 2026
The Verdict
Our Verdict: Voyo Bulgaria is the leading local streaming service, offering a solid mix of bTV's live channels, popular reality shows, and exclusive local dramas. The addition of live sports like GLORY Kickboxing via RING.bg adds genuine value to the Premium tier. The app is functional and reliable, though the interface feels slightly dated, and the strict geo-blocking prevents any use outside the country.

In-Depth Platform Analysis & Coverage
bTV Media Group built Voyo to dominate the Bulgarian streaming market, and its focus on hyper-local content has been highly effective. The platform produces hit reality shows and dramas that consistently top local viewing charts. The integration of live bTV channels and a 7-day catch-up archive makes it a practical replacement for traditional television.
The Premium tier adds legitimate value for sports fans by including live coverage of GLORY Kickboxing and select local football and basketball via the RING.bg sports network. The streaming quality is reliable, and the ad-free on-demand library is a major quality-of-life improvement.
However, the user interface feels slightly dated compared to global competitors. Navigation on older smart TVs can be sluggish, and the search function is basic.
Geo-fencing is absolute. If you are a Bulgarian citizen living abroad, the app will detect your foreign IP address and block access to both live TV and on-demand content.

What to Consider (Cons)
- User interface feels dated and can be sluggish on older smart TV models
- Strict two-concurrent-stream limit frustrates larger households

- Search and content discovery tools are basic
